Your hosts, Buffalo Don & Lady Buffalo (also commonly known as Laurie or Princess), are escaping the Canadian winters to provide you with friendly year round accommodation in our beloved Manzanillo Mexico. Buffalo Don is friendly and outgoing. He is your main contact for what to, how to & when to. He has lived in Mexico before & speaks basic Spanish. Laurie can be friendly but IT IS NOT SAFE to approach prior to the third cup of morning coffee. Secondary source (or second opinion) for what, how & when. |

Our friends of Grupo Paquilixtli are traveling musicians who stay with us from time to time. We met them when Buffalo Don heard them practicing “Stairway to Heaven”. Their income is derived from the tips they earn for playing their music. And their music makes for a great party! Members of Grupo Paquilixtli also make jewelry. Ask them to see their current inventory or about custom work. We will post dates if we know ahead of time when they will be in residence. Remember that this is Mexico though —just because it’s not on the calendar, doesn’t mean they aren’t here.
If you have a talent that would entertain your fellow travelers, please bring it to our attention.

Relax Miramar Beach, on Bahia de Santiago, Manzanillo, Mexico, is a 10 minute walk from Buffalo Don’s Mismo Sol Mexican Hostel. The pool is right outside your door. Games & cards are available for use. |

Learn Buffalo Don’s Mismo Sol Mexican Hostel is founded on the desire to learn about the cultures of the world. As well as learning from your fellow guests about their homes & cultures, we will attempt to assist you in your quest for knowledge by directing you to an appropriate source. Please let us know if you have a particular interest. If you are here when the coconuts are ready, you might learn to climb a palm tree or cut a fresh coconut.
